N Part PCV


Glad you got it sorted mate, thought it would be the pick up.. usually is and its the cheapest most obvious part to change when suffering from low oil pressure.

what do you mean by N part PCV? dont you want the revision R? orrr have you got a check valve in the rear PCV and need a different revision for the front?

Sorry brain fart! Just checked the part number and it is indeed the R part.

I think I want edition 30 front and rear valances too. Think Ill only be able to afford copies to be honest though!

Good news on the sump shenanigans, you've definitely come out of it unscathed  :happy2:  Some folk are less fortunate and suffer camshaft damage, which essentially means a new head.

As for the shoddy repair with chewing gum.....it seems my bathroom sealant comment wasn't so flippant after all  :grin:  Some people should be allowed anywhere near a car.

I've not really done more than a few miles as the rear brakes need attention before I use it so Im not 100% its sorted, but the picture I posted seems to suggest that was the issue!
