will 18's et35 work ok on gti

Will 18x8 wheels with et35 offset fit ok on a mk5 gti, car has standard suspension (for now) will my 225/40 tyres be ok or will they rub? Thanks

std ride hight you might be ok but lowered defo not . i had that et once and it rubbed
west tuned gt28 @ 340hp

It will work but you will have to remove the arch screws, pretty simple really..

mine still rubbed on eibach pro springs with the screws removed
west tuned gt28 @ 340hp
