did you get the plastic plug that fits over that open small bit of plastic pipework? I suspect that's what your garage says is missing.
it's part number is 056 129 777

Hi there,

I was changing my gearbox clutch yesterday and I snapped that damn pipe. I think it must come from the servo then joins into a piece which also has water pipes. Is the vacuum part just a way of connecting both pipes ie can I just re-route with another pipe and by pass this? If not does anyone have the part number for the tree?

Thanks

If it is the the coolant flange just above the gearbox you are talking about, then the bottom pipes just connect 2 pipes for the heater matrix, the 2 pipes above that connect the vacuum pipes together. If you have just snapped off one of the vacuum pipes then you can just connect the 2 together and bypass the flange and all will be good.
