If the tread blocks have feathered edges, it's the toe that's out.
You say 'the tyre' so just one of them is worn down? Stock camber is -0.55 degrees, but due to poor subframe alignment at the factory, it's not uncommon for one side to measure an extra degree negative. This normally only shows up as 1mm additional wear on the inside edge once the tyres reach half worn. Excessive wear is an alignment issue.
