On thr image posted - speedo face has more increments than a standard mk5 GTI set, ironically looks like a calibrated speedo you see in some Police cars! :driver:

Yeah… just looking on eBay and I can’t find any like mine at all.
Looks like mine should be 20mph increments and top out at 180mph.

I’ve had the car over 3 years and this is the first I’ve ever noticed this…! Like I say, I don’t usually go over 70mph so it’s never been an issue before…

Getting too old for this...

I can see the photo now. That does look very different and out of place for a GTI. Seems to sit wrong in the cluster frame too

I’ve Google image searched and still can’t find anything anywhere near similar.
The closest dial that only closely resembles it is mk4 dials…
It’s odd because the rev counter looks correct…!
There’s nothing in the history file about it. Going to check the odometer now through the ODB port… gulp

Not a Golf cluster but found this image of an ex Police car dash.

OCD kicking in about the thread title spelling  :fighting2:

These are my clocks.

To me it looks like either the speedo has been changed with one from a different car or a different face has been stuck over the original to maybe change from km/h to mp/h. Is the car an import?

I bought these off Lockwood they're also on eBay for my import. If you look after 50 mph the increments change. So for some reason on import cars the Speedo doesn't go up in a linear fashion.
