Hi all, I have been a bit of a "lurker" on this forum for the past few months. It has been a great resource for picking up tips on various mods to do to the mk5 cars (even if mine is a jetta!)
I am about to start on a conversion of a 2008 MK5 Jetta 2.0tdi into a 2 door UTE truck.
Progress so far is that I have received the whole kit from America and currently have it in storage as I have not had time to start the project.
I bought a 58 Plate 2.0tdi about 6 months ago after shopping around a bit for a good one. I managed to get a 1 owner car with a full VW annual service history and 75k on the clock.
My plan is to start cutting the car in the next few weeks and hopefully from there it should be a relatively quick project.
Let me know if anyone would be interested in me documenting the build.
