Change it. If you put it back in you'll be constantly worrying if you've done the right thing.

It’s fairly straightforward, just pop out the hpfp and replace it. Getting the hpfp off the the only “hard” bit.
When did you last replaced it? That depends whether to change it now or later.

To my knowledge never
Crrently on 118k so I know it needs doing. Just don't have the balls to do it myself!
Will the hpfp need priming after removal??

Oh my... im surprised your engine is still running mate. Im 100% sure your follower has a hole in the middle at this point.
How long til service? Id send it right away to change it then service at same time.
Or, change it yourself (youtube tutorials are good) then service when its ready.
Either way, change it asap ur engine is at high risk of seizure.

Don’t do anything to the hpfp just remove it. What engine do you have?

Ebays are ok depends who you getting it from. I got mine from ecstuning.com
Dealership are too damn expensive. You can get like 4 for the price of 1.
You eending it to change at dealership? You could save alot if you do it yourself mate

I don’t remember the mileage but the picture above in this thread was the one replaced. Ive replaced it several times now.
Its a common practice to replace it every 20,000-30,000km

I was only doing a routine checkup on my engine and checked the follower at 20,000km and decided to change it when i saw it. Could have gone another 10,000km but since i took it out and had spares on me might as well.
