Wheel Spacers
« on: March 07, 2010, 01:59:01 pm »
As i don't want to buy any New Alloys yet want to fit an R32 brake kit under my 17" wheels i think i need some spacers

The 17" wheels on my Skoda Octavia vRS are 7.0J ET54 which i don't think will accommodate the R32 Kit as the 17" Monzas are 7.5J ET51

Can anyone recommend some decent spacers and links to them. Had a look on DemonTweeks but they don't state how many are in the kit.

Plus i need Hub Centric ones to ensure no wheel wobble etc

Cheers

Carl  :happy2:

I would see if they fit first before wasting wedding money on spacers. It also depends on the wheel design for fitments. The Monza and pescara are the same size and offset but the monza has a few mil extra clearance due to the design  :happy2:

To be honest im doubting a wheel with 0.5 inch less diameter and 3mm less offset is enough.

I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Also the added bonus would be better handling due to the wider stance

Ive made contact with Ben recently. There are two types available, depending on whether your  current Wheel bolts are V shape or smooth U shape under the head of the bolt. Not sure the make of them though Carl.

Priced to this forum inc longer bolts for £55 posted, and thats for 1x pair.
