What is a good mpg reading on our cars?

Anything over 30. I think my all-time average is 28. 40 is possible on a long slow motorway trip with little traffic.

I used to get higher numbers on a normal basis which is odd, ended up intake valves gunk buildup. Cleaned the hell out of it and got a much better reading but wasn’t sure what’s the avg.

Depends if it's a K03 or K04.  K03s are better on fuel.  As above, my ED30's long term average is also 28mpg.  It's been stage 1 most of it's life though and gets driven hard, so I'm not complaining     If I do 60mph on the motorway it'll do about 35, but life's too short for such boringness.  I'm enjoying pumping f'ck tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere whilst I still can.

Its a K03 stage 1, im averaging 24mpg on a daily basis driving about 60mph. On motorways probably about 26mpg. I’m the same with u i do enjoy hitting hard time to time, why not right our cars are meant for it. Comparing my mpg to urs, seems like u have slightly better mpg. Any idea bro?

Have you pulled the dipstick to see if the oil smells of petrol? The hpfp seal can perish, causing leakages.

I just did that last week but to chk for vacuum leak. But ill give that a try.

No smell of personal just the normal oil smell.. guess its not leaking

Usually can get mine to around 30 local driving and around 35 to 38 on the motorway. That is if I am granny driving LOL. On the quick runarounds, get it around the mid-20s, sometimes even less

My long term average is around 26mpg (over 2 years of driving mainly short journies tbh)
