new clutch help

<< < (2/3) > >>

gillm:
helix is also a option . im having mine fitted on monday

anorganix:
Yeah, sorry, forgot about Helix - heard they're good, never got to drive one though.

So, price with flywheel included (from high to low) would be:
Uprated Sachs - 1500 GBP
Helix -  GILLM, help with the price :)
South Bend - 1000 GPB

PS: I'm talking about stage 3/4 with ~450 ft lbs.

gillm:
think helix are £1000 -£1200 inc solid flywheel but not inc release bearing

robern2:
release bearings are £35

danishmkvgti:
well, i'm now official a member of the clutch slip club, 4th, 5th and 6th. It has lasted as a school car for 130.000km and K04 upgrade for 22.000km so i can't complain, might as well fit a LSD at the same time, but i plan to fit a new DMF. any ideas as to why i should use a smf instead?? It has to be as drivable as the standard thing.   :happy2:
