no point turning TEFF's thread into another dyno lottery argument. JKM reads low figures everyone know that. Ive not seen a stock car hit what it should mine was way down and on VPower. They are great and i value Keiths advice when i ring them and i have read the notes on their website regarding proper operation of a dyno but i still think its low reading. Have a read of this TEFF if you get some time... http://www.jkm.org.uk/performance/dynotesting.htm

Thanks guys. I'm not saying the Dyno is or isn't telling the right power. I think it's good because a friend of mine did a Dyno check to another company and gave him 350hp, and when he came to the dyno where i made the measurements he had 348.5hp. So the difference isn't that big. Skipping over this, i've forgotten to mention that i already payed a Quaiffe LSD for DSG. Hope to receive it in one month.

at 480 nm of torque, you right near the "safe"  limits of the 500nm of the dsg clutch packs!.

If the reading is correct, i wouldnt be going stage 2 or even +.

Rollers will vary, and theres no answer as to which set to believe.

As long as it drives ok, then thats the best to be happy with  :happy2:

i am afraid also with the DSG torque limit because i don't have the REVO DSG Stage 2. This night i will meet with my local Revo dealer and he will take my revo stage 1 to a little less power and torque. I want to play it safe. It doesn't matter if i have 270 or 310hp, the roads in Romania are like crap. When i will make a turbo upgrade, then i will go up with the power. Until then i don't want to force the DSG or the Turbo

Teff,

500nm is a lot. The REVO DSG map upgrades the clutch holding power to 500nm, so you are at the limit. The DSG clutchpacks are relatively strong. Mine is running 562nm at the fly (548nm measured at the wheels!) and is holding up with no slippage, but I too sometimes wonder if it is a matter of time or not before slippage rears it's ugly head

But, i would had been nice if there existed an upgrade to DSG internals . Like on the manual gearbox you can get an upgraded clutch kit.

I have a spare.....just in case :jumping:

HPA do an uprated clutchpack. The internal bearings are SKF, so should be okay as long as they aren't dodgy bearings from the start.

 Hurdy, Matt,

thanks for the tips.

Please give me more details, as I didn't study the DSG chapter in-depth

what is the clutchpack upgrade? only the bearings? or others too?

i'm asking because i can get SKF bearings strainght from the ROMANIA distribuitor (a very good friend of mine).

thanks guys.

The OEM bearings are SKF.

HPA make clutchpack upgrades that enable their twin turbo'd R32's to run up to 600bhp and similar torque :surprised:

http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.hgp-turbo.de/&ei=0UCQS5zNLZCM0gTC9cnjDA&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CAsQ7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhgp%2Bturbo%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG

Click on the MKV R32 icon and the clutchpack is near the bottom of that page :happy2:

Not cheap though!!!!!!! :surprised:
