Probably needs potting up into something bigger. They don't like their roots disturbed, so maybe put it in something a bit OTT now so you don't have to do it again in the next few years.

@Stupots That Monkey Puzzle has been in that pot for  7 years!  I need to shift it (and 2 Chusan Palms) into MUCH bigger pots, I completely agree  :happy2:   Thing is, the size of pots I need are about £250 each  :surprised:   I'm thinking about building a mega pot from salvage railway sleepers to house all 3.  Not sure yet.  One of my favourite trees though, thanks for the interest  :happy2:
