Engine/exhaust egg like smell

I’ve noticed when revving and giving it some on quiet roads that the car gives off a kind of rotten egg smell, any idea what it could be? Mk5 gti in question

Is this since you having a misfire?

Could be because unburnt fuel from the misfire has got into the cat and it's burning off.

It is since a misfire yeah, I’ll give her a a bottle of cataclean and see what happens, thanks 👍
