I admit I am not the best for checking my oil, i had been made lazy by my Mk4 letting me know when it was feeding time.
Last 2 times I checked I found it below the hatched area, right at the bottom of the dipstick -
kept thinking why hasn't the oil level warning piped up about that?
reading up, when the sensor is disabled the dash light would not illuminate, I have no dash light for oil at ignition! - is it just new sensor and re-enable?
Bit worrying, I took the nearside wheel off to find the brake wear sensor had been chopped off - that light still shows at ignition - if they have disabled one sensor, what else could they have messed with?
