Sensors disabled
« on: March 08, 2020, 10:44:42 pm »
I admit I am not the best for checking my oil, i had been made lazy by my Mk4 letting me know when it was feeding time.

Last 2 times I checked I found it below the hatched area, right at the bottom of the dipstick -
kept thinking why hasn't the oil level warning piped up about that?
reading up, when the sensor is disabled the dash light would not illuminate, I have no dash light for oil at ignition! - is it just new sensor and re-enable?

Bit worrying, I took the nearside wheel off to find the brake wear sensor had been chopped off - that light still shows at ignition - if they have disabled one sensor, what else could they have messed with?
This is the ignition dash lights, phone was too slow to catch the air bag light, that does show:

Door & hatch open lights work -  should the bonnet latch light come on with ignition?
