Wheel fitment
« on: March 12, 2020, 04:05:53 pm »
Been trying to read up on what fits and what doesn't and just end up confusing myself, so would a 18x8.5 et options are 35,40,45. Would these fit without any running issues, car is stock height at present but will be lowering 20-30mm around in the future, also I should mention I have 3 kids so with the wife car is full up alot for spins so dont want any rubbing issues, any idea if any of these filaments would be ok?

use this site, just pop in the current and new fitment.

OE fitment is: 18 x 7.5J ET51 with 225/40/18 tyre

https://www.willtheyfit.com/?width=225&aspect=45&diameter=18&wheelwidth=8&offset=40&width2=225&aspect2=40&wheel_size=19&wheel_width=8&offset2=40

I don’t think you want to go much more than 8” / 45mm to avoid rubbing with a lowered and loaded car. Even then you will need to do the arch liner mounting screw mod.

Thanks mate looks like an et35 would be the one then, sits slightly further from steut but pokes out 28mm more which is fine as plenty of room in the arch to fill
