Brake pads
« on: March 06, 2010, 04:21:29 pm »
On my MOT I was advised that the brake pads were getting low. They wanted £250 to change them so I politely told them to do one.
Will the light come on the dash when they need doing? (it hasn't come on yet) The car still brakes fine. I am hoping I may be able to stretch it out until I part it in for a new car.
Will I be ok to wait until the light comes on the dash?

I would just keep an eye on them Ollie, just make sure they dont get to low as to score the disc.  :happy2:
A visual check once a week should be fine.  :happy2:

The front ones will bring up a warning, to be honest even when that comes on there's still a bit of time left. Leave it for the next owner :signLOL:
