Car feeling rough!!
« on: March 08, 2010, 12:29:27 pm »
Hi folks :happy2:!

Car has been off the road for a couple of months due to redundancy and finally got it back on the road! Since getting it back its been running a bit rough, the engine doesn't sound like it used to....more droney than normal and it has me really worried! its a 05 plate DSG with 63k! Does anyone also know how much a LL oil service and spark plugs would cost at a VW stealer?  Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Max

My Stealer quoted me £10.50 (ish) for sparkies last week. Dunno about a LL oil service, but my last T&D using LL oil was £120.

Might help:- http://www.arnoldclark.com/static/servicing/voucher-manserv.html

If you can stand taking it to an Arnold Clark, that is.  :stupid:

You can save a few quid by replacing the plugs yourself.
Buy them from stealers part dept to show genuine parts used (if you are bothered) ask for a discount too. Taxi discount is usually forthcoming.

Also LL oil & filter plus your service record stamped is £70@ JCT600 VW
Service & MOT £99.
Don't know if you are near Bradford.

Hope this helps.
