Xenon adapters with extra short wire

Hello,

I ordered xenon adapters from Kufatec and they arrived but they have an extra short wire on each which I'm not sure where it's meant to be tapped into, I know a long wire would go to the CECM but these are too short to go pretty much anywhere. They're the ones pictured in the link

and you don't have the long wire at all?

weird - mine came with the long wire but I got mine off a private sale on ebay.

@Rossimac nope no long wire at all, seems a bit strange. Really not that impressed with kufatec right now tbh

I think so but the shutter wire should connect to the CECM, which is the problem

Worked it out they are meant to go to the CECM wires says A5 and D6 referring to the pins in the CECM, don't see how when they're 3 metres too short.

Yeah they're definitely to go to the CECM to get full beam from xenon lights. It's really worth it, so I'd make sure to get it done. Likely is that you'll just have to add to that wire, which sucks!

I've noticed the same with kufatec before where they make the wires too short. Ended up Soldering a wire to extend it.

Yes they are for the shutters to open and close on flashing

So Will, I bought another set of xenons and therefore the adaptor from Germany for another Golf.

And the adaptor of course didn't come with the extension wire to route to the CECM.

How did you fix in the end? Get some long wire, solder and then get a terminal for the other ends?

Email the seller and get them to send you the wires

Yeah I think I will - their advert (after a Google translate) says the wires are included in the sale.
