As everyone has said, declare everything. Its safer and less hassle that way.

I found Chris Knott to be the best for me  :happy2:

They have been very mod friendly as well and only increased my premium for the remap, my other mods are listed but made no difference to the premium.

in the middle of telling some knob in a call centre about my mods, whats are coilovers ? what is an anti lift kit ? "what kind of engine have you put in your car "? -" No not an engine its an engine mount " -" yes but is it a 3 liter or two liter " - "Its not an engine, its a F*ckin Mount" Agggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........

Finally an extra £69, thats not including the remap, intercooler or ITG, ill fit them after september now and look for a differant insurer.

Greenlight dont charge extra for a remap, danGB insures his BT leon with them for peanuts and his has pretty much everything done to it!

hence no point dealing with mainstream standard car insurers if you want to mod.

better to deal with people like Greenlight who at least knows what the mod is and how it affects the car and give you a premium that reflects the car!

....Greenlight do charge according to what power your remap takes you to. I think it's worked out in increments of 10 bhp.

Ive declared everything, it cost me £69

I also never said that i would not declare the mods, i said i was un-sure wheather to or not !

I believe you can change it now but you have to pay a cancelation fee for the remaining period. (At-least with Direct line anyway) :happy2:
