« on: April 23, 2020, 05:20:39 pm »
Hi all
I recently bough my golf gti mk5 with dsg. Now i drive a manual van for work all week so when i take my golf out at weekend i just like to put it in D and enjoy the automatic. Am l a geek for doing this? Will i damage dsg by having it in automatic all the time? Im new to dsg so bear with me if i sound niave :driver:

That's exactly what I do. After a week of driving the van it's good to be lazy.

I've been doing it for 8 years with no issues.  :happy2:

Keeping it original..............or not!!

No having it in the D mode is the default way to drive it.  Have fun,  DSG is a great toy on a gti.  Have you got padles?
