Most likely.  It's not ideal.  Does this new pump work fine with the oem controller?

Sorry I missed this all those years ago....yes, a DW65v will work with the oem controller. I have since gotten rid of the TTRS and threw it away while keeping my Torqbyte PM3. I installed a different 265 LPH pump into the original oem basket. But I am going to eliminate the PM3 this week. Not that it's a problem, but because it is unnecessary. Also, my next pump is going to be an oem LPFP. I no longer run the Custom open-loop tune I ran back then. I edited reply #11 to add more I have found out recently; https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,98491.msg971161.html#msg971161
