What wheel are using MK5 or MK6?  Looking at doing for my 2008 GTi.  Have the loom and bought the MFSW buttons (OEM) only to realise that you cant retrofit on to an existing GTi steering with (non-DSG) No where to screw them.  So if anybody on here as non-MFSW steering wheel with DSG, I have the buttons, module and airbag loom to convert their car for sale...

The screw holes are there, just covered by plastic, you need to trim back

Fitted the CH control unit, car already had the correct slip ring (1K0 959 653 C) fitted the 1K0 971 584 C air bag loom, and coded, all buttons working but no horn & was unable to turn ESP & tyre warning lights off even after driving the car?
Put the original air bag loom back on & horn works & lights go out??
Any ideas??

Did you perform the steering adaptation after fitting?

Do a full scan (Auto scan) and in each section it gives part numbers/ coding for each module.
After you do a full scan it should be saved into your VCDS folder under 'scans'
