I dont know the differences but i have a vwr one and its good, took aaaaaaaages to arrive though... I think there website quotes about 15nm of torque when they tested it on a standard gti, so maybe a little more on a mapped one and even more on a ed30   :happy2:

I take it that either PiperCross or the VWR are fine?

....Yes, both fine. I think, but don't know 100% for certain, that VWR's are made by Pipercross.

ITG offer a panel filter too. Very snug fit and probably best of all. It's oiled though.

The VWR one is made by Pipercross for Volkswagen Racing to their own spec so is different like much of the products they commission to be made. i was very happy with mine the whole time it was in there but was suprised to how mucky it was when i pulled it out after about 6 months but was told to give it a wipe over once a year. I would say anyone who cares should clean it more regularly (any filter) but i didnt know at the time  :happy2:
