Engine Judders - Inlet Manifold Advice

Hi,
I've got a Golf Mk5 and been advised that Ive got a swirl flap issue as the engine judders and misfires. If I replaced a new inlet manifold would this fix the problem?
Thanks

Yep its been linked up to vcds. No faults at present. My mechanic thinks its the remap thats causing it.
