Personally I'd find a proper AC specialist rather than keep firing the parts cannon at it, it will probably work out cheaper in the long run.

£117 is peanuts compared to what you could VERY easily sink into AC repairs.

As the gentleman above said, I would take it to an AC specialist personally.  The MK5 system seems to be particularly fickle for some reason.

Mine works perfectly but I never use it  :grin:   It dries my eyes out and I don't like the performance and mpg hits either.

I get the exact same fault code on obd11 for ac, when I regassed mine, I could hear the ac compressor kick in and obd11 confirmed compressor was "on" but I wasn't getting any cold air into the cabin and then when I left it an hour, there was 0 pressure again, so i left it at that lol

Just to clarify - your looking for general buildings AC (cheap) rather than automotive (Expensive).
google "air conditioning services" in your area.
