Recently i posted this thread

Well it turns out it was as the car Failed it's MOT yesterday due to 2 knackered bearings.

Didn't think that would cause a fail but shows the level of checks they do.

So now need to get 2 new front bearings and car re-MOT'd before Sunday?

Not good but at least you found it now - You should be covered by your warranty right?

Nope.

It's classed as a wear & tear part so would only be covered in the first year. If it had completely failed then yes it would have been.

Car has done 56k miles.

I have however managed to sort something out with the dealer who in all fairness have been great as they didn't charge me for the failed MOT because i had already warned them that i thought a bearing had gone.
