Hello and an urgent fuel pump
« on: August 15, 2020, 01:23:34 pm »
Hi,
Newbie here... I've been lurking for a while and meaning to post, but had a good motivation to sign up today.

Owned a MK5 gti for 2 years now. The original plan was to have a good all-rounder; something that was practical but I could do a few track days in. My track day plans were scuppered when a first baby came along, since then the car has been used to cart a pram around.

Anyway, my current situation. I've had a few engine issues and replaced the PCV valve today. Whilst replacing the PCV I noticed that the plastic cover/sensor on top of the fuel pump had a small crack in it. I prodded it. It now has a big crack in it, the EPC light is on, there is a P2294 error, and it doesn't drive well.

Extra problem is that we're due to go on a family holiday tomorrow. So, does anyone know where I can get a replacement this afternoon, within cycling distance of Epsom Surrey!?
