Contacts of a phone

My better half has dropped and smashed her phone with all her business contacts onbut after years of telling her to store them on the sim she didn't doSo  it :stupid:Is there a program out there for free you can download to get them

2020..... and no back up? No cloud? Anything that is that important really needs backing up.... and I am sure you have told her that 10000000 times. Even storing stuff on the sim card isnt good enough really.

How bad is it smashed up?

a decent phone repairer should be able to retrieve the contacts

It's likely a replacement screen will restore normal operation but I would imagine that hooking up to iTunes or whatever the android equivalent will allow you to back up to your computer.

What phone is it? If an iphone, icloud contact syncing/backup is usually on by default.  If she needs a new phone, restoring it from what ever backup she may have done, whenever, will restore the contacts.

You really cannot tell people enough about backing up.  A mate lost 1000s of photos because he ignored my lectures. Serves him right  :grin:  If people choose to be ignorant about their digital lives, that’s the consequence  :P
