Mk5 gti boost pressure way down. No boost leaks.
« on: September 12, 2020, 10:38:50 pm »
Hi guys

I have a problem with my car not reaching requested boost pressure of 2530mbar but only spikes to 2240 on initial throttle and then immediately drops to 1900mbar. Car is stage 2 with hpfp upgrade, intercooler, induction, full exhaust.

Car has new aluminum boost pipes and no boost leaks.

Turbo is basically new, a few months old.

Wastegate was tightened more but made no difference.

Actuator holds pressure.

Tried 3 new n75s no difference either.

I have a log in 3rd gear log of the boost and n75 with throttle position and rail pressure but do not know how to attach it.
