Thanks, I had a good trawl through armed with part numbers and broken german but no luck...

Found one left unit for sale on a dodgy site but its 240 euro!!!! Might as well go back to OEM Xenon for that money!

Hi mate, if you want to use the D2S bulbs by all means you can do so using these adaptors and ballast kit. If you're better off with LED bulbs

Legend!! This is what I'm looking for haha.
The H7 bulbs I linked above need adaptors as well though I think? They don't just go in the headlight as it is, need a bulb holder etc. for them?

So lost on all this lol.
nah you'll be fine as long as the bulb fits into the original location you should be able to use the clips for the H7.

Oh ok, because when the garage looked at fitting the H7 bulbs there wasnt a way to fit them because of the connections in the depo headlights.
Doing my head in trying to sort it all out.

@Adam0604
Paid a bit more for mine but same thing.
I have all the GTi lights and fog lights fitted with them

https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2xH1-H4-H7-200W-20000LM-LED-Lamp-Headlight-Kit-Car-Beam-Bulbs-6000k-White-9-30V/302376177175?hash=item4667064e17:m:mXTn8UUnjVlptdOkuPImkmA

Forgot to mention you'll need these too

https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/2PCS-H7-Canbus-Error-Free-LED-Headlight-Anti-Flicker-Resistor-Canceller-UK-Stock/253558928154?hash=item3b094a331a:g:DokAAOSwsBtaNNZp

OK so to confirm, you used 4 of those bulbs in total. 2 for main and 2 for low beam? And those connector things fit onto the bulbs and allow them to fit in the depo headlights?

those connector things are canbus error free resistors to prevent your dash showing a fault for lights although you can fit them in without but sent you the links as I don't want you to get pi**** when a canbus error shows up.

Hi all,

I fitted depot headlights to my Jetta last week. Massive improvement! Only thing is, the headlight connectors aren't clipping back into place. They are sliding onto the connection port okay, but the latch isn't catching the plug isn't fully secure. Drivers side light is mostly fine, but occasionally the indicator and sidelight stop working, and I have to open the bonnet and jiggle the connector back on.
The passenger side light is worse, I can only get the indicator, sidelight and high beam to work if I hold the connector on tight. Once I let go they stop working. Any thoughts?

@Ben_VTR push them in with force until you feel the click as these are sh** vag designed clips not the headlights then selves.  :happy2: if all fails squirt a little wd40 onto the outer of the headlight connection and try again. Let us know how you get on  :popcornsoda:

You need additional bits to make H7 and D2S bulbs fit because even though they are similar, these are two types of Depo Chrome Ecodes. The main difference is bulb type and the D2S headlights have a hole for the HID wiring. My issue with Depos is that there are people that used them and had issues with height adjusting knob as cheap plastic broke and housing's mounting wasn't able to hold weight of projectors and just broke making entire headlight and retrofit useless. In terms of Vehicle LED Work Lights, I would personally go for new lights just to save myself from near future headaches.
