This is the weekend after I get my licence back and will be the first forum meet being back part of the driving communtity
So needless to say I will be there. Doubt I will be doing the strip though as the car won't know what's hit it after having a 62 year old driving it for the last 15 months..  But if I manage to get my bits on in time then who knows  Will aim to get them on as I can get Kev to load Stage 2+ on whilst there..  :jumping:

It's a nice "welcome back to driving" present to attend. Hope you enjoy the feeling when you get back behind the wheel. I'd imagine it'd be like driving it for the first time all over again.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Red, put it this way: at least you don't drive in the lefthand lane of a clear motorway, with your indicator flashing for over a minute, with your rear foglight visible for about two miles!

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

....Well actually I do drive in the lefthand lane whenever traffic allows and only use the other lanes for overtaking or to pass slip-road feeds.

^^^Dammit. It was meant to read "lefthand lane at 50mph on a clear motorway".

I stick to the lefthand lane too. There was some old codger awhiles back. Entire motorway empty but he was doing 50mph, still had his rear fog on with the left indicator flashing. This was on a sunny dry clear day.
Bloody iphone.
