Hi all,
I have a golf gti dsg 2005.when i start up and drive i get a clunking noise when braking and coming to a stop. This only happens for the first 10 minutes till engine warms up a bit then it stops clunking and noise goes. Any ideas please?

Could be subframe moving , check out Tyrol dead set kit which fixes it.

Thanks mateJust scratching my head why it isn't doing it all the time but just when cold it seems. Im just hoping it isnt the dsg on way out. I get a clunk when moving off from drive and taking off handbrake and moving from P to D but after researching that seems the norm. Seems a similar sound to the brake clunk.
