Mk6 seats to mk5

Hi guys so i bought a pair of mk6 seats for a really good deal. While i was installing it in my mk5 2009 everything fit perfectly. Only thing is i didn’t realize that to recline the seats it had to be powered. Before i got the seats it was tested and it reclined but i didn’t know it was powered lol (i got to excited looking at it. It was in really mint condition) any idea how this will work??? :thinking:

i never knew the mk6 seats where powered? are they all like that? maybe you can get a module to plug in and have it coded in, or they might just need coding. i dont know.

Did your original seat have power to them for lumbar and heating........if so I would assume they are good to go, but may be work comparing the harness plugs to see if there are any differences in pin/wire layouts
