with that sump dude are you not running a brace bar under the block now or are you just having intermediate? I though you were full flowing too, seeing that cooler top mounted and no take offs on the current rocker covers that youre not then? And wheres the welded and balanced fan?

defo  running a brace bar and those rocker covers are just on to keep crap out of the heads as i have new rocker covers now that are flowed and that goes to an oil cooler under the car + they go into a breather tower too once all the top part of the mtr is built up with the carbs and the fan shroud with the welded fan  :smiley:

this week or next i hope  :popcornsoda:  :rolleye: it needs running at 2500rpm for 20min at first to bed the cam in and then he oil will be dropped and new stuff put in and then its off for its mot  :scared: it should pass its all new  :rolleye: then once its home i need to drive it for 100miles and then drop the oil again to get rid of any of the engine build up gunk and then its done  :party:

to say i am a little excited is an understatement

I loved this car when i was up at yours, the paint is really old school, its a really dark black.  :party:

Thanks TC yeah I am mad and yes the engine is in and everything is ready to be run this week  :jumpmove: and once it's up and running it's mot time  :scared: but then again it's all new from the front to the back now. But I get told it's running you guys will be the first to know and you know VC u will get a giddy text  :P

quick update as it just about ready  :jumpmove:
engine is in and after we had to install a hi torque starter motor will be running today  :rolleye:

dont worry about the cloth on the roof  :rolleye: and it will be getting some bigger tyres fitted on the rear too  :evilgrin:


ignition box

this will go to the mallory dizzy after its fired in to life as we are just trying to run it the quick easy way just so we know all is working fine.
the most stupid pic i took of the new gauges  :ashamed: iphone has no flash  :rolleye:


just got the oil filter and breather system to put on and its getting booked in for the mot next week by the looks of things  :scared:

all in good time my good man  :laugh: lets get it running and mot on it first  :rolleye:  the guy who has done all the work said that the cam we have fitted is going to pull this thing hard  :signLOL: but will idle at around 1200rpm  :laugh: but will pull like a bitch  :laugh:

best thing is the guy who has done all the work has said he has enjoyed doing it so much and the engine guy said the same about the engine so thats the main thing for me as that says its been done with lots of  :love: and enjoyment but i cant wait  :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove:
