Well its mot was done and it failed  :sad1: on headlights needed setting  :P so it past after that job was done and it now has Tax in the window  :jumpmove: but the little git will not idle correctly  :confused: so its been a few days of thinking and after doing a few things my mate thinks its the carbs that are just dumping fuel into the engine ie under 10mpg   :scared:  :rolleye: so after checking the jettings on the carbs he thinks its down to the floats inside the carbs not opening correctly ie just dumping the fuel in ie number 12 on this link

so as he is so busy this week and he will not be happy to let the car go as he wants it spot on for me  :smiley: so its looking like the weekend to get it back maybe  :sad1: oh well  :sad1: but then again i dont want it back unless he is happy first  :smiley:

yeah just need to bed the mtr in over the next few days and keep my foot off the pedal  :rolleye: but its cool as we have set the revs limiter to 4500rpm for now untill we have some miles on it and then once its done the miles its back in for an engine tune up and service and then its Line lock and burnouts time  :evilgrin:
