^^^Surely it'd depend on what was covered by the extended warranty, given that they are more restrictive than standard warranties?

I made the bold decision to not take an extended warranty in august/ September 2008, thus far all I've needed has been one j clip that fits under the drivers seat. It cost 0.37p. Guess I've been lucky so far but anything that goes wrong can be offset now I guess with the £800 I'd have paid out for the last 2 years cover.

Ya pays yer money you takes your choice....nice to have if u can afford it but read the small print many are not worth the paper they are  printed on.
