Rear discs

Hi all, i just have a quick question

So i understand the rear discs on a 07 GTI are 286mm but were changed to 282mm to prevent a lip from forming

Would rear brake pads suitable for 282 discs be okay on 286mm discs?

Should be fine. It's such a small difference it won't matter.
