Cylinder one down ed30
« on: November 01, 2020, 10:46:02 pm »
Guys i need a little help my ed30 was down in power and was running on 3 cylinders so done all the usual checks and changed Coil packs plugs even done Injectors never changed anything so i then had compression test down and found cylinder one was down at 50 all rest at 180 so took head off and got it all redone also got pistons checked over (not removed from block mind) and bores checked over no marks with very little play in pistons, but after doing this work still the same issue. could it be CAMs or even with no signs of damaged pistons may they need replaced??

Thanks for any advice

If there wasn't any problem with the cylinder head then the only logical answer is that it's a piston problem.
