New boy from Bristol
« on: March 22, 2010, 04:52:19 pm »
Hi All,

Just thought I would say hi. I bought my GTI three weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. I got rid of my of the wife's 207CC as we needed some thing a bit more practical with teen age kids, spec as below:-

Blue Graphite,05 Reg, 52K Full VW service history, DSG, Leather, 18" Monza's, Sunroof, 6 disc player, Parking Sensors.

I have been reading up on mods on here and plan in the near future to have it mapped and a new exhaust and get the side skirts colour coded as you can see from the attached pictures I had the front and rear bumbers done last week.
I have had a few cars since learning to drive, this is my 45th from bangers to Porsche's but I have only ever modified one before a Mini Cooper S which was at 265bhp with lots done in looks and performance, I can feel me going the same way with the Golf?

Thanks
Nathan (Bristol)

Hi Nathan,

I live in Bradley Stoke. The guy who did my car is out between Winterbourne and Yate he was recommened by a company called Prestige Auto Services in Clifton who do smart repairs and they use this guy for bigger stuff. He has a workshop with oven and is a bit of a VW fan himself with a lot of his work being T4's and T5's.
I was very pleased with his work and will be using him again for the side skirts. He had to do some major repairs to the front lip underneath and he also painted the rear insert gloss black to match the front grill. see pics below.

Thanks for your comments
Nathan

Welcome to the forum!

By the way, "prepree" isn't called Nathan, he was referring to the user Greenouse, who is called Nathan and has a black ED30 with a red front lip!

Your car is very nice!
