For the past 2 months ive been experiencing something like pre ignition or misfire, really not sure which one it is. Half the time when i let go of gas pedal theres a pop sound coming below the driver seat possibly exhaust? Definitely did not sound from engine front, Sounded below. Only happens after letting pedal go and doesn’t do it all the time. Sometimes is quite frequent and other times are not so frequent. I also noticed when downhill the momentum of the pop sound is quite aggressive, gravity pulling fuel I guess. Im pretty sure its fuel igniting.
What could possibly cause this to happen?
Any advise appreciated.
