I Hope everyone is keep well in these very strange times.
So on Tuesday this week I turned up to Stealth Racing to have my edition30 dsg remapped.
Last week the car was at Rtech where it had the injectors flow tested and inlet walnut blast and runner flap delete. The results were 1 faulty injector which needed replacing.
Anyways, the car made 360.91bhp with 388.95lb.
I'm actually lost for words to describe what its like now. It's just unreal. The boost comes in hard but the car grips and puts it all down (aided by the anti-lift kit probs and the torque curve from the remap)
But I want to highlight the level are service and care(for your car) Vince provides. In a tuning world where everyone seems to be chasing numbers, he highlighted that the power now is more than enough for the car that it is and honestly I couldn't agree more - probably because it feels much quicker than 361bhp. The drivability has improved massively and it now sits around town 30-40mph in 6th gear at sub 2k rpm.
Shame about the wet weather right now, I've not been able to enjoy it fully but from the test drive and drive home, I have no regrets.
Anyone else had their GTI mapped at Stealth?
