Spider problem :(
« on: December 10, 2020, 04:41:50 pm »
As the title suggests, and it’s my worst nightmare!!

Over the last few weeks, I’ve removed about 6-7 spiders from inside the car. They appear from random places (all similar looking) and they’ve made webs in random places around interior of the car.

I’ve vacuumed my car and removed all the webs I could see, but they still keep appearing.

I do park under a tree most days (I don’t drive much- my car can be parked up for days in a row) and I have a sunroof (but I don’t think they are coming from there).

I’m a bit concerned that they may have laid eggs What can I do ASAP to treat this problem? Is there some non-toxic spider killer I can spray inside the cabin and leave the car overnight?

Next time, I’ll make sure not to park under a tree and hope that helps.

Any help would be highly appreciated!

A Ozone treatment should kill them, otherwise just fire the car haha

Awww, poor spiders, they need a warm home over winter.

I have spiders in mine all year round because I take a lot of garden waste to the tip, so they inevitably hop off the trimmings and get all cosy under the seats and carpet.   Doesn't bother me really, they eat dust mites and flies so I leave them be!

I have had a hornet in the car before though, and that is definitely a bug you don't want in a car.
