I do repairs on my own cars and family, but i like to used 4-5 coats and flat back each coat.

it gives an almost seemless finish, but you have to wait a day between coats.

im a bit of a perfectionist, and from a commercial point of view, that doesnt help me out at all

No, it's a lot of time and effort for little gain, plus you've got a car getting in your way for a week whilst trying to work on other stuff.

Given the fact it's only going to get more, even though I have a bra, I'll just have them tarted up and keep doing so until it comes to sell - then I'll sort them properly.

JPC:
yep true.

the car in the way isnt really a problem, the unit is massive, i could get about 10 cars in!

stone chips are such a bitch, but there has to be a point where you cant get too pissed off with them, they will always happen!

JPC how much do you charge for a full detail,  not a clean cos I do detail myself but just not very confident with my rotory so would prefer a pro to have a go?

Where abouts are you?

Thanks

Darren
