Eibach ARB Settings

I did post this in the Performance section but nobody answered 

Can someone just confirm wether i am right or bonkers in thinking the Eibach ARB's (with 2 holes) have 3 stiffness settings.

I am sure i read somewhere that the settings were as follows:

Bolts in bottom holes both sides = Soft stiffness
Bolt in bottom hole one side & top hole the other side = Medium stiffness
Bolts in top holes both sides = Hardest Stifness

Is that correct?

Reason i ask is someone has told me if you do the medium setting your car alignment will be out and will never be able to be tracked straight due the way the bar is held in.

Mine is set on Softest but that is still waaay better than OEM incase your wondering

Hi mate - I finally got my front ARB fitted using the existing clamps - had to be cut as you said! 
As far as I know there are only 2 settings - soft and hard - not sure I would like 'medium' with the tracking off!
I've got both front and back set to soft - but you are right- much better than OEM.
Need to get my rear one checked as there is a clunk from the rear left when I take a right-hand bend...

The general way is to have the old clamps cut off. 

Glad you got them sorted.

The noise could be a couple of things.

Either one of the clamps isn't secure and is causing a "rattle" (could also be the bush) or the bolt connecting the bar to the drop is loose.

One of your drop links is on the way out I found when I replaced mine for updated ones that the bolt had started to corrode and my car is only 3 years old.

Check those first.

Oh and Damian from DPM Performance confirmed there is only 2 settings.

Cool - will get it checked when I get the FSDs fitted.
Something defo wrong as the back of the car seems to 'skip' if it hits a bump - esp if I'm going round a corner Quite scary actually!

Are you sure it's not because your not used to the new characteristic of the car being stiffer?

Remember you don't become a Rally Driver overnight. Not saying something is not wrong or you can't drive but it may just be that your not used to the way it handles now.

Plus if your on OEM shocks that may affect it (i had FSD's for a fair few miles before fitting the ARB's)

Yeah I've adjusted to the stiffness well - much nicer with no roll - steering has a nice meaty feel to it now.
Just that the back seems so 'skip' over any sudden bumps and throw the car off track - I know something is not right - esp with the clunking noise!

ps - my other car is a 360 Modena so I know how a car should handle

Yup a 360 would defo help you learn to drive
