Hello,
The tappets on my Golf gti 48k seems quite loud - whats the process of quietening them down!
I presume it would have to go into a garage for the old oil to get squeezed out??

As far as I can tell, they're all like this regardless of age.
The solution is to either add more sound proofing, or turn up the music

Think it's down to the ''direct'' injection, they all make a bit of a ticking sound.
