Should be the new owner of MK5 GTI shortly, I have agreed to buy it off a friend who's known the car since new and has let me have it at a very good price.
Have never had a VW before but did have a B7 RS4 a while ago.
It's a graphite blue 3dr with DSG, tartan seats and 18 inch wheels.
I can't remember if it has any other options or not but it's in good nick and drives very well.
Need to check if it needs anything (Cambelt etc) and gather that I should also change the cam follower too.
Anything else to worry about?! It's on about 120k and I believe it's been well looked after generally I don't know about the history but it's got contis all round.
Couldn't see any rust but he did say he's had the bit under the rear badge repaired and repainted in the past.
I'll no doubt have more questions when I get it.
