Left hand side buttons:
Volume increase and decrease.
The star button mutes the audio or it can activate voice dialling (I think) if you have the Skoda bluetooth kit installed.
The phone button doesn't do anything unless you have the factory fit phone kit with a cradle.

Right hand side buttons:
The top button scrolls through all the different menus in the MFD.
The arrows scroll through the MFD, take you through the different options in the menus, change music tracks, changes radio stations, etc.
The ok button selects the option you want to change and then confirms it, answers/ends the call with the Skoda bluetooth kit.

I can't remember what the buttons do if you have the satnav installed as haven't used mine for a while.

HTH.

Does voice dialing work with the Kufatec bluetooth kit, and do I have to keep the star button pressed for a bit?

I don't know much about the Kufatec bluetooth kit but the pics of the parts look like the Skoda kit I installed, so possibly.

As far as I know (I didn't get voice dialling activated), you press the star button briefly until you hear a bleep then say the name or number and the system will dial.

When the audio is on, press the menu button on the wheel, This should toggle between the MFD and the Audio menu's. Once its on the audio menu you can change stations and tracks etc.

I would say then that if the Kufatec kit can do voice dialling, yours isn't coded to do so.

Unfortunately I know nothing about the coding so can't help you.  I'm pretty sure someone on here has voice dialling activated though as I remember reading about it ages ago.

Anyone out there who can help with the coding?
