I really dont understand the fascination with dropping a car this low, air bag suspension etc. It looks stupid too - a good MK6 Golf GTi ruined IMO.

Each to their own though.

Yes mate it is super super low lol the car is fully laid out lol it'll be hear on saturday when you pop up dude.

crazy  :congrats:
looks photoshopped  :notworthy:

the mk6 is widely regarded as the mk5.5, any big differences between laying frame on the two youve encountered ?

We developed a new kit for the mk 5 which will go lower than my original kit i had 2 sets sent over but as my car isn't ready this car got the first of some uber low loving.

I appreciate some ofyou guys wouldn't like you bunch of track whores ha ha it's cool. It's no where ear finished yet though new rims interior audio and some paint on the agender next.

I agree slightly with the track comment but it doesn't mean the car won't handle it handles alot better than factory does but you get to drop it on its arse raise it for speed bumps and just generally hassle free driving and looking cool (well in my eyes anyway ha ha)

I just wanted to chuck the thread up really as we had the chance as far as im aware to do the first mk 6 in the uk on air and as far as im aware we have just pimped the guys over on vortex to it as well lol.

The guy doesn't need the car for the track as well when he smoking around in a brand new rs6 lol.

I must be getting old. I just don't get the ultra low look, it just looks broken to me, plus it'll be mega impractical and totally uncomfortable.

I reckon the bottom of the arch should sit level with the top of the tyre, no gap and no overlap for me.

But then, I am on the wrong side of 30 (only just!) so you crazy kids can do it if you like it

Very true, however my confusion doesn't lie with air-ride, it is the Ultra low look I don't understand. By all means, fit bags, but I don't think a car sitting with it's sump on the tarmac looks good. Might be just me though....
