Ross-Tech wiki lists the following

Possible Causes

Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80) faulty/jammed
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (N115) faulty/jammed
Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Sealing faulty
Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body leaky/blocked

Possible Solutions

Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Regulator Valve (N80)
Perform Output Test
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve (N115)
Check Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister
Perform Basic Setting
Check Pipes between Tank Breathing and Throttle Body

How do i perform a basic setting on the EVAP canister? is that the same as the throttle body alignment? as that was the only thing i could find in the Ross-Tech Wiki

Did the Output test on the N80 valve and it seemed ok so just wanted to do this other test before taking it to the Stealer. Would you believe the car is 2 Days out of Warranty  :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Cheers in advance

Carl :happy2:

vRS Carl:
Think i may have found the problem. Not sure though but this certainly wont help

Carl

QD MBE:
Thats the culprit.  Mine is broke too, but I have araldited mine with no problems.  A new cannister is pricey too!

vRS Carl:
You can just replace the pipe

It's £8.50 Inc VAT for the breather pipe

Cannister is about £90 if that is the culprit though :surprised:

Carl :happy2:
